Interesting Acquaintances

These painted portraits are of friends whose personalities, through art, sit on canvas. These images came to me from my life experiences with them and formed, subsequently through my creative mind. Not real images but how I like to think of them. Abstracted and unique as artworks. A celebration. A Portrait of Kirk, and a Portrait of Warren, and Lucy. Here, they are portrayed in a non-literal sense in oil and acrylic on canvas. Personalities as perceived in my memories and imaginings. As ‘naturalʼ people but also as ‘artificialʼ ones, altered by my own perception.
